What does the research say?
Research
Iboga has been studied for its potential effects on addiction recovery, mental health, personal growth, and neuroplasticity. Researchers believe iboga’s primary alkaloid, ibogaine, may influence multiple neurotransmitter systems, including serotonin, dopamine, glutamate, and opioid receptors.
Emerging research suggests iboga may:
Support reduction of cravings and compulsive behaviors
Promote neuroplasticity and new patterns of thinking
Encourage self-reflection and emotional processing
Support personal growth and behavioral change
Enhance mindfulness and awareness
While much of the research has focused on larger therapeutic doses, interest in microdosing is growing as individuals seek subtle support for wellness, self-development, and habit change. Our goal is to contribute to the growing body of knowledge by gathering participant experiences and wellness outcomes.
